Vin Yin

This wonderful yoga class links movement and breath to attain balance in the mind and body. Vinyasa aligns a deliberate sequence of poses with the breath to achieve a continuous flow. This class is very beginner friendly and challenges intermediate yoga practitioners. This class combines vinyasa flow with slower deep stretching, back strengthening and hip openers.

About this experience

Vin Yin is a beautiful marriage between the Yang of the Vinyasa Yoga and the receptive Ying of Vin Yoga. In the first half of the class, you will move from posture to posture flowing using your breath and energy. In the second part of the class, you will relax into the postures and hold the postures for approximately 2-3 minutes. Yin Yoga targets both the deep connective tissues between the muscles and the fascia throughout the body.

In final Shavasana enjoy a magical Sound Healing with Tibetan Sound Bowls, this will relax you into a meditative state. Sound Healing can help clear energetic blockages and thus facilitate healing on a physical and spiritual level.

This class can also include aromatherapy oils sprayed throughout the room to help you relax and move more freely into each posture. Vin Yin yoga is suitable for all levels of fitness, take the class at your own pace.
